Privacy Policy Newsletter

 
PRIVACY POLICY PURSUANT TO ART. 13 EU Regulations 2016/679 (“GDPR”)

Brunelleschi, 5/E CAMPI BISENZIO  (FI), 50013, Tel. 055 8951259, Email amministrazione@italsime.com  (below shown as “Owner”), pursuant to Art. 13 of EU Regulation 2016/679 (General Data Protection Regulation of personal data), must provide some information concerning the use of personal data and/or sensitive/specific data as defined under the law articles mentioned.
It is necessary to fill in the form in order to sign up to the mailing list, which allows to receive by email automatic and free updates from the Owner. This form can be found in the registration section of the website.
The newsletter is sent by email to those who request it explicitly, filling in the form provided and authorizing the Owner to process their personal data. The provision of data is optional. In case the customer refuses to share personal data, it is impossible for the Owner to provide the newsletter service and to send any promotional communications, for which specific consent is required.
It should be noted that the Owner’s Newsletter is managed by the Mailchimp platform, (part of The Rocket Science Group, LLC 675 Ponce de Leon Ave NE Suite 5000 Atlanta, GA, 30308, USA), which ensures compliance with personal data protection and whose privacy policy can be found on https://mailchimp.com/legal/.
 
Data processing purposes

  1. Personal data provided by the users will be used to send newsletters containing information about Owner’s products and events, with no explicit promotional or marketing purposes. Data are not subject to disclosure.
  2. Personal data may be used for promotional and marketing purposes, if the users agree with the optional and free use of their data. Promotional material (such as offers and special discounts) may be sent by the writer company. The information given may also be used for customer satisfaction inquiries and statistic purposes. Data are not subject to disclosure.
 
Data processing procedures and legal basis
Collected data are processed both on paper and on computer. Appropriate and up-to-date security measures are followed in order to prevent data loss, illicit or incorrect use and unauthorized access. Your data will be added in our contact management system, through the “Double Opt-In” management model under the current legislation. An email will be sent to the address specified in the service subscription form, to which you will have to answer in order to confirm your subscription; in the absence of confirmation within 30 days, the subscription will not be completed and consequently the newsletter service will not be activated.
Moreover, we inform you that your personal data will be processed in compliance with the procedures specified in the GDPR, which guarantee a licit and correct use of data. These data are collected and recorded for specific purposes, are explicit, lawful, precise, up-to-date (if necessary), relevant, complete and not excessive in relation to the data processing purposes.
Data will not be disclosed and may be processed by
  1. companies which carry out storage and elaboration service on computer files on our behalf;
  2. companies which deal with Newsletters preparation and delivery.

Your data may be processed by our employees and managers, properly trained and identified.
With reference to the purposes set out in points (1) and (2), the legal basis of the data processing is your possible consent which is freely expressed (in accordance with Art. 6, paragraph 1, let. a of the Privacy Regulation and of Art. 23 of the Privacy Code).
Interested Party’s Rights
You can exercise your rights on the Owner at any time, as clarified by Art. 15 and the following ones of GDPR. Information on how to exercise your rights follows in the next paragraphs. 
Consequences of a missing or partial provision of data
Data provision is optional and therefore we notify that the missing or even the partial provision of the above-mentioned data may compromise or make difficult the fulfilment of the service requested. In case of missing provision of marketing consent, the Owner will not be able to send messages regarding direct sale, market research and customer satisfaction.
Duration of data processing and how to exercise your rights
We notify that the data provided will be processed until the requested service stops, in other words until the request to unsubscribe from newsletters will be sent informally by email to this address produzione@confezioniluma.com .
